Xbox one dawn shadow special edition review 2017
It’s now been a while since Microsoft announced their new set of console controllers for the Xbox one. These include a headset and the most talked about Xbox one dawn shadow controller. The dawn special edition is the first of the shadow range of controllers to have all features of the Xbox one S. So, what does this new controller have to offer? Is the Xbox One Dawn shadow worth it? Here’s a quick Xbox one dawn shadow special edition review of its design, price, and features.
Xbox one dawn shadow special edition review
Like I have already mentioned that the shadow S.E has all the features of the standard Xbox one S controller, its, therefore, going to work with any Xbox one. If you are a PC gamer and your PC has Bluetooth, you can use it to play your windows PC games too.
Right from its name, the controller adapts a fading out color instead of the fading we had in its shadow predecessors. Microsoft has gone for a completely new design for the Xbox one dawn shadow too, giving it a metallic magenta finishing. Compared to the normal blue wireless Xbox one controller, this looks more upmarket and well designed in general.
Microsoft says they have increased button mapping ability as well as improved wireless range in this new controller. Like previous shadow series controllers, the 3.5mm stereo jack of the Xbox one dawn shadow accepts any compatible headset.
The D-pad has now been improved for better precision, and the textured grip feature is going to enable you maintain focus on your targets, as well as give you all the action thanks to impulse triggers.
In case you want to remap the buttons of the dawn shadow, all you have to do is access the Xbox accessories App.
Since being released for purchase by Microsoft on 4th October, the Xbox one dawn shadow controller’s price has been going down. For the new features as well as design uplift, I would say this is a fairly priced controller. Compared to the new Xbox one elite controller that starts at $130, Microsoft has made this one more affordable instead. It may still be too new to be compared to the dusk shadow, but this Xbox one controller already has a good number of positive reviews.

Whether you are going to replace your current controller for the Xbox one dawn shadow or not, that depends entirely on you. You could perhaps think of it as a replacement for your old Xbox one S controller, but it’s going to take some time to know whether it will fill those shoes. I like how Travis Pope talks of the best Xbox one controller one should buy.
